Colonel Momodou Badjie Appointed as New National Security Advisor

President Adama Barrow has appointed Colonel Momodou Badjie as his National Security Advisor.

Badjie who had served most of his post-military career as a diplomat will now now be  at the heart of Barrow’s new security reform program to advise him on national security.

Described as a man of tremendous talent and experience, Colonel Badjie served as the Governor of the country’s Central River Region following the coup that brought Yahya Jammeh to power.
