The Gambia Men’s Football National Team, the Scorpions have arrived in the Moroccan City of Rabat ahead of their friendlies against the host and the Central African Republic this month.
The delegation headed by the North Bank Regional Football Association boss, Mr Momodou Bessam left the Banjul International Airport in the early hours of Monday for Rabat via Casablanca.
Coach Sang Ndong travelled with the delegation after returning from his ten days scouting mission in Europe where he was accompanied by his assistant Matarr Mboge and GFF 2nd VP, Ebou Faye.
At the time of going to press yesterday (Monday), only four players were in camp as China-based forward Bubacarr Trawally joined the three local based players Alagie Nyabally of Real de Banjul and the Brikama United duo Sainey Sambou and John Bass.
ASC Linguere’s Modou Jobe was expected to join the team on Monday evening, whiles the rest of the foreign-based players will be travelling with assistant coach Matarr Mboge from Brussels today (Tuesday).
