Former Gambian Interior Minister Ousman Sonko remains in prison. The federal court of Geneva extended his detention for alleged crimes against humanity .
Ousman Sonko is accused of acts of torture, which would constitute crimes against humanity committed as part of either a widespread or systematic attack against the civilian population.
He was arrested on January 28. On 21 April, the public prosecutor of the Confederation extended his detention until July 25 before granted another extension, until October 25.
