Partnership: EU agrees to create employment in Gambia

President Barrow’s visit in the EU could be beneficial for the Gambian community. The European Union is poised to accompany the new government in term of jobs by financing many projects.

EU/Gambia agreed to put as a priority the creation of employment and domestic perspectives for youth. As Gambian President Adama Barrow end a day-long engagement in European Capital Brussels.
In a roundtable discussion, Barrow and Mogherini exchanged views on common challenges key among them irregular migration and agreed to deepen the cooperation in this area.

Moreover, the Gambian-born ICC chief Prosecutor has paid visit to President Barrow earlier today.
