Tapha Manneh, Gambian international coach, yesterday, 9 August 2017, has made history in the Liberian domestic league after guiding his club LISCR to the league’s crown in his debut season.
The experience was Manneh’s first coaching job outside The Gambia and revealed itself to be a worthy adventure. Mustapha Manneh has become the first Gambian coach to win a title in a foreign league. The Gambian led his LISCR side to the Liberian title yesterday after drawing 1-1 against Keitrace.
Attributing his success to hard work and dedication, Coach Manneh also said he was very happy and that was a very good move for the club.
Coach Manneh’s club LISCR FC needed just a point to be crowned champions of the Liberian Premier League in the final day of the 2016-17 league season. LISCR FC drew with Keitrace 1-all in the final game of the season to win their third league title under the Gambian coach.
